Compliance with ATEX directive
Liebherr laboratory equipment complies with EN/IEC 60079-0 or EN-IEC 60079-7 and complies with EU Directive 2014/34/EU ("ATEX directive"). The interior classification II 3 G Ex ec IIC T6 (declared as Zone 22) makes it suitable for flammable substances in closed containers that could create explosive atmospheres.

+2 °C SafetyDevice
If the temperature in the appliance drops below +2 °C due to a fault, the +2 °C SafetyDevice takes over, keeps the temperature stable and triggers an alarm. Sensitive substances are protected from freezing and you are immediately informed of the situation.

SmartFrost function
The SmartFrost function significantly reduces the formation of frost inside the appliance and on stored products. Defrosting is not necessary as often and when it does need to be done, it is much easier thanks to the smooth, easy-to-clean interior walls. The evaporator is embedded in the foam insulation and ensures a high level of energy efficiency and even cooling.

Retrofitted WiFi/LAN interface
With the retrofitted WiFi and LAN interface, the appliances can be effortlessly connected to external systems such as Liebherr's SmartMonitoring. With the digital monitoring solution, the storage temperature is controlled and documented conveniently and securely via a subsequently set interface.

Mechanical lock
All Liebherr professional appliances in the Performance series are equipped with a mechanical lock with two keys for storing temperature-sensitive products. This way, you can be sure that no unauthorized hands have access to your stored goods.
